Department of Biomedical Engineering
Amber is faculty in Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Her research involves creating computer models
that surgeons use for guiding instruments in the operating room. A typical work day might include staring into a brain resection cavity
of a patient undergoing tumor removal or angling a data acquisition device into position for scanning a nephrotic kidney. She has a Ph.D.
