Jennifer Stott

BIOGRAPHY

Jennifer Stott, Director, Payments Technology, leads a technology team  in RBC’s Payments and Trade area, which includes application development, maintenance and production support for the retail and wholesale products and servicesrelated to Payments, Retail Foreign Exchange, Global Financial Institution Services, Trade Services, and Clearing & Settlement. In this role, Jennifer manages approximately 130 people and a portfolio of more than 50 applications, ensuring appropriate processes and disciplines are in place to provide operational and execution excellence for over 3 billion transactions per day.

In addition to these responsibilities, Jennifer is a member of RBC’s Technology and Operations (T&O) Diversity Leadership Committee and Co-Champion of the Women in T&O sub-committee, where she contributes to enabling an inclusive environment where all employees can reach their full potential.

Jennifer joined RBC in 1988 and has held technology positionsin both Applications and Enterprise Architecture.

Before joining RBC, Jennifer worked as a programmer for Canada Post and Northern Telecom (Nortel).

Originally from Ottawa, Jennifer has an Honours, Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo. She is married with three children and enjoys travelling and time spent at the family cottage.
