Picture
The first Ontario Celebration of Women in Computing (ONCWIC 2010) was held at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario and was attended by over 150 women from universities and organizations across Ontario.

Highlights of the conference included keynote by Debra Danielson, SVP, Center of Excellence, CA Technologies, informative CA and IBM sponsored panels and workshops, student poster presentations, not to mention the fun and exciting evening social event. Overall, the conference was a resounding success which is echoed strongly in the comments by attendees.  And for more details and to review our program click here and click here to view our sponsor listing.

...   "finding role models who are women and successful in their profession"

...   "meeting people that are very close geographically, but that otherwise I wouldn't have been able to meet"
